Solvent separation from process streams containing a
very high concentration (> 10 g/m3) of either single or
multiple types of solvent.
Principle
The process gas is stripped clean of solvent in the
absorption column. The solvent is absorbed using a
special absorption liquid. The special absorption liquid
used has a high boiling point.
The absorption liquid is re-circulated to the desorption
column where the solvent is transferred into the gas
phase again and recovered for reuse.
