TYPE AG - atea-WK Laboratory Scrubber

The atea-WK Laboratory Scrubber was designed specially for use in laboratories where toxic, corrosive, and odorous gases are released. The laboratory gas scrubbers are used mainly for the absorption of strong acids or caustic.

Inside the Laboratory Scrubber the contaminated exhaust air is brought into contact with an aqueous absorption solution. To achieve a high efficiency it is important to ensure a large interfacial area between the air and the liquid. This is achieved by distributing the liquid over a packed bed.
